New Features in Python 3.9 – Dictionary Union Operators, type hinting, and more! Check out this detailed analysis by James Briggs on the new features. While this certainly won’t have the same impact as f-strings did when they launched, I’m sure excited!
All the Things You Can Do With GitHub API and Python – A thorough, hands-on overview of all you can do with the Github API, including posting new files!I really recommend checking this out if you do any work with Github and want to automate some of those workflows with scripting.
NumPy 1.19.0 Released – This is a big release that drops support entirely for Python 2 and anything below Python 3.6. Check out the release notes for the minutia about what else is new and coming up.

Slim by Design: Serving Healthy Foods First in Buffet Lines Improves Overall Meal Selection – A new study of buffets showed that the first item in the buffet was taken by 75% of the diners, regardless of the item. Very interesting!
